Spanish heavyweights Real Madrid President Florentino Perez looks to defend his role in the upcoming election to decide the fate of the club. Incumbent Perez, who has been challenged in the club’s electoral race after a prolonged period of unchallenged reign.
The seat for the RMFC supremo hangs in the balance as Perez, who looks to bring former boss Jose Mourinho in to fix the crisis the side find themselves in, has been rivalled by Riquelme, who vows the acquisition of superstar striker Erling Haaland.
On one hand, Perez will contest the Presidential election as he looks to retain the top position of the fabled constitution, and is challenged by Enrique Riquelme for the hot-seat.
The 79-year-old incumbent chief, Perez, has been challenged to a contest bringing to an end to his uncontested reign at the top of the storied said, as the 37-year-old businessman, Riquelme, who is also the boss of Cox Energy, looks to present his bid for the role of the supremo.
At the other end of the ring, Riquelme, vowed to bring in Man City superstar Erling Haaland to the Spanish Capital City club if elected to power, in a stunning promise ahead of the highly anticipated election for the biggest seat at Los Blancos.
Riquelme, who stands as Perez’s rival in the election, promised that Haaland would wear the fabled Los Blancos white if the results in the election go his way.
Real Madrid, who have gone trophy-less for two years on the bounce in the Spanish top-flight are in need of an overhaul to guide the team back to its true glory, and if Perez does manage to hold office past the date of result, Mourinho would be entrusted the job to bring superstar egos in order.
Madrid would also look to offload members from their squad with Mourinho certain to come in with his own wish list of players to recruit, amid reports of tension in the Madrid camp.
