Person found dead at his farm near Holehonnur

A person was found dead at his farm at Hanumanthapura near Holehonnur in Bhadravathi taluk on Sunday (March 29, 2026).

H. Suresh , 56, the deceased, was earlier working as a lecturer in a private college in Shivamogga. He is survived by his wife and two children. He left home on Saturday (March 28, 2026), informing his family members that he would be attending a programme. His body was burnt at his farm.

The police found Suresh Kumar’s two-wheeler and a bag at the spot. Senior police officers, including Shivamogga SP B. Nikhil visited the spot. Holehonnur Police registered the case. A forensic science team reached the spot as part of the investigation.
