Tata Motors recently brought back the iconic Sierra nameplate, and the new-generation SUV now starts at Rs 11.49 lakh, ex-showroom. Positioned in the highly-contested midsize SUV segment, the reborn Sierra’s base-spec Smart+ trim packs in a long list of features.

If you’re planning to buy the Tata Sierra and are considering the entry-level variant, here’s a closer look at what it offers.

Tata Sierra: Base-spec trim features

The Tata Sierra Smart+ comes equipped with bi-LED projector headlamps along with LED DRLs and LED tail-lamps. Even at this price point, Tata has opted for all-wheel disc brakes, which is a notable inclusion in the segment. The SUV also rides on 17-inch wheels as standard on the base variant.

Inside the cabin, the Sierra Smart+ gets rear AC vents, electrically adjustable outside rear-view mirrors with integrated indicators, four power windows and a front sliding armrest.

Tata has also added rear sunshades, adjustable steering, and a Type-C fast charging port. An electronic parking brake is also part of the standard kit. Besides that, it also offers a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, push start/stop button and flush-type door handles as well.As for safety, even in its entry-level form, the model comes with six airbags as standard, along with ABS with EBD. Electronic stability aids such as ESP, vehicle dynamics control, hill-start assist and traction control are also included.

In terms of size and road presence, the Tata Sierra is among the larger SUVs in its class. It measures 4,340 mm in length, 1,841 mm in width and 1,715 mm in height, with a long 2,730 mm wheelbase. Ground clearance stands at 205 mm. Lastly, speaking about the prices, the entry-level variant has been priced at Rs 11.49 lakh, ex-showroom.
