PM Modi arrives in London, aims to strengthen India-UK ties

Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed in London on Wednesday evening for a two-day official visit to the United Kingdom from July 23 to 24. The visit is being hailed as “historic” by diaspora groups in the UK, who are geared up to welcome the Indian leader.

The highlight of the visit is expected to be the signing of a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) and a renewed push to enhance the India-UK Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP).
