Boney Kapoor thanked PM Narendra Modi for sending special wishes and blessings to Anshula Kapoor and Rohan Thakkar after their Mumbai wedding.

Boney Kapoor has thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for sending his blessings to Anshula Kapoor and Rohan Thakkar after their wedding in Mumbai. Anshula, the daughter of Boney Kapoor and the late Mona Shourie Kapoor, tied the knot with Rohan on July 6 in an intimate ceremony attended by family members and close friends.

The filmmaker took to social media on Friday, July 10, to share a glimpse of PM Modi’s congratulatory letter and expressed his gratitude for the personal gesture.

Sharing the letter, Boney wrote, “Heartfelt gratitude to our inspirational and Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi ji, for your warmest wishes and altruistic blessings to Anshula and Rohan on their auspicious wedding."

He added that the Prime Minister’s message made the family’s special occasion even more memorable. “We are overwhelmed with gratitude and touched by your kindness and very humbly thank you for your personal affectionate blessings, Sir," Boney further wrote.

PM Modi Sends Wishes To Anshula And Rohan

In his letter, Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Anshula Kapoor and Rohan Thakkar as they stepped into married life. He extended his blessings to the couple for their journey of love, trust and togetherness, while also conveying warm wishes to the Kapoor family.

The letter was dated July 3, a few days before the wedding ceremony took place in Mumbai.

Their wedding festivities began on June 21 with a Mata Ki Chowki hosted by Rohan’s family. The celebrations later culminated in their July 6 wedding, which was attended by their loved ones.

Anshula has mostly stayed away from the film industry spotlight, but her wedding has brought her into the news with warm wishes pouring in for the newlyweds.
