MATHURA: Five members of a family were found dead in their home in Uttar Pradesh's Mathura district on Tuesday, with prima facie reports suggesting that they died by suicide.According to details, the incident happened in Khapparpur village, under the Mahavan police station area. Police said the incident came to light when the brother of the deceased, Manish, did not see anyone coming out of their home. He then alerted the police, who reached the home and found the bodies of a husband, wife, and their three children in a room.The deceased have been identified as 35-year-old farmer Manish, his wife Seema, their two daughters Honey and Priyanshi, and their two-year-old son Pankaj. A sensitive text was also found written on the wall of the room saying, "I, Manish and Seema are committing suicide of my own will.
Police should not bother anyone," hinting towards the suicide.Manish was married eight years ago and has two brothers who live separately in different houses in the same village. Manish lived in this house with his wife and children and worked as a farmer in Mathura.On receiving the news of the deaths of his daughter Seema, son-in-law Manish, and his young grandchildren, Vijendra reached the village. He said he had met his daughter and son-in-law just a day earlier and had spoken to them.
He never imagined something like this would happen. He said there were no apparent problems.Speaking to ToI, SSP Mathura Shlok Kumar, who visited the spot, said, "Information was received today that 5 people from the same family have been found dead. When police reached the spot and investigated, it was found that a person named Manish, his wife and 3 children were found dead. In this room where a suicide note was found, a suicide note was also written on the wall, and 1 video made by them was also found in which they talked about suicide.
All bodies are being sent for post-mortem. The information was given by the deceased's brother, who stated that when the children did not come out to play in the morning, he jumped over the wall to enter inside and broke the door of the room to enter, and there were other villagers with him, and after that, they saw the dead bodies. On this information, police were informed by them, bodies are being sent for post-mortem and action is being taken."
