Police to destroy seized narcotics worth Rs 7 cr after court approval in Bhopal

Bhopal Police has initiated the legal process for the disposal of narcotic substances worth nearly Rs 7 crore seized in 44 NDPS cases registered at different police stations and the Crime Branch.The verification and disposal process was carried out in accordance with court directions and provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.According to police, the seized drugs were linked to 44 cases, including 35 registered by the Crime Branch, three each by Habibganj, Bairagarh and Jehangirabad police stations.
