A ‘Shakti’ scene she never forgot

The ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar’ actor recalled an incident from the shoot. In the film 'Shakti', released in 2011, she played the wife of Sonu Sood. Her role had a negative shade. There was a scene where her character was meant to fight the hero.

At that moment, Jr NTR made his stand very clear. He said, “I will not do a fight scene with a woman.”Pooja Bedi said that this single moment increased her respect for him. She felt that such values are rare in today’s busy film world.

The actress also spoke about her long link with Telugu films. She made her Tollywood debut years before ‘Shakti’. She played a doctor in Chittemma Mogudu, which starred Mohan Babu. Over the years, she has worked in many industries.
