Pooja Bhatt recalls cancer scare during Bigg Boss: ‘I found a lump on my breast’

Actor Pooja Bhatt recently opened up about a frightening health scare she experienced while participating in Bigg Boss. Speaking on Cyrus Broacha’s YouTube podcast, the actor revealed that she discovered a lump in her breast during her stay inside the reality show and initially feared it could be cancer.Recalling the incident, Pooja said that it happened during the second week of the show after she had finished her bathroom duties and went in to take a shower.Sharing her experience, she said, “Week two. I finish bathroom duty, I go in to take a shower, and I find a lump on my breast. Oh God. And I’m like, okay, this must be a hormonal thing or it must be something might have bitten me, as you know there were bugs all over the place there.”She added that the lump did not go away over the following week, which made her increasingly worried. “That week passes, the lump stays the same size, and it’s not hurting. Now we get into week three. So I’m like, okay, this could be cancer. If it is, we’re here for six weeks. I can’t die in six weeks. The professional that we are, I’m like, grit your teeth, go through it.”Pooja further revealed that her concern grew when the makers decided to extend the show’s duration.

“They decided to extend the show. So that is when I said, ‘Oh, this is not happening because if this turns out to be cancer, I can’t be spending three weeks more in the Bigg Boss house.’”She then approached the cameras and requested medical attention. “That’s when I went to the camera and I said, ‘Listen, I need to talk to a doctor,’ and I was called into the medical room. So they instantly called in a good doctor from Hinduja Hospital who came, checked me. She looked at me, she said, ‘You need to go and get a mammography now.’”Pooja’s revelation has left fans shocked, with many praising her resilience and professionalism for continuing with the show despite the fear and uncertainty she experienced during her time inside the Bigg Boss house.
