Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant seems to be in a completely different zone during the ongoing NBA offseason. The 25-year-old NBA star recently reacted to the roster moves made by the Memphis Grizzlies.

With the current offseason in full swing, almost every NBA team is busy making the much-needed changes for the upcoming season.

The cryptic message posted by Ja Morant on X has diverted the attention of his fans too.

Memphis Grizzlies has been making the most of the 2025 NBA offseason with their roster moves. Recently, Grizzlies’ star Ja Morant shared multiple tweets on X which gave out mixed signals. However, through his cryptic tweets, he made it crystal clear that he was not interested in being a part of the team’s roster retooling. His tweet mentioned “Popular loner fr.”

After some time he further posted- “So mentally & physically i stay far away.”

This comes after the Memphis Grizzlies traded off Desmond Bane. The popular shooting guard shared a great camaraderie with Ja Morant both on and off the field. The Memphis Grizzlies have sent Desmond Bane to the Orlando Magic in a blockbuster deal. In return, Memphis receives Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Cole Anthony, the 16th overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, a 2026 first-round pick from the Suns, Orlando’s first-round picks in 2028 and 2030, and a 2029 first-round pick swap with the Magic.

Even Luke Kennard was traded off by the Memphis Grizzlies to the Atlanta Hawks for the next NBA season in an $11 million deal. Ja Morant updated his profile picture on both Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) to an image of Keanu Reeves as the iconic John Wick, according to GrizzMuse.
