Prakhar Jain assumes charge as APSDMA Managing Director

The 2021 batch IAS officer, Prakhar Jain, took charge as the Managing Director of the Andhra Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority (APSDMA) on Friday (June 20). After assuming the charge at the APSDMA office in Tadepalli, Mr. Jain reviewed the procedure for issuing warnings to the district administrations in the event of disasters such as cyclones, floods, heat waves, heavy rains and lightning. He said that there is a need for such processes for relief measures, preparedness, response and recovery measures for each disaster.
