'Dragon', starring Jr NTR and directed by Prashanth Neel, is one of the most-awaited films. The film is already making headlines owing to its grand scale, impressive cast, and, above all, the director's wild and creative choices.
In a significant shift for fans, director Prashanth Neel, in his upcoming collaboration with Jr NTR, titled 'Dragon', will reportedly break away from the monochromatic, high-contrast dark tones that defined 'KGF' and 'Salaar.' Neel has opted for a vibrant, colorful canvas to bring this international-scale action epic to life.
Prashanth Neel prefers new visual tones
‘KGF,’ ‘KGF 2’ and ‘Salaar’ director Prashanth Neel is popular for his movies with dark themes, but this time he has chosen to go with a different color in his next film, ‘Dragon', according to Moneycontrol.
Unlike his earlier films, Prasanth Neel usually opts for non-black and non-dark shades. It will be vibrant and filled with bright colours and rich in open space. The aim is to create a grand cinematic feel that connects with family audiences, while still keeping strong mass appeal.
This shift shows Neel’s effort to evolve and break away from his usual visual style.
Jr NTR’s Jordan shoot adds buzz
At the same time, Jr NTR’s Jordan shoot has added more buzz to the project.
His rugged look, thick beard, and strong screen presence created a storm on social media. Fans shared clips and photos, calling his look fierce and powerful. Handing out her big role is Rukmini Vasanth, besides Anil Kapoor, who would be able to be compared to the star cast in the film.
'Dragon' set for big release
'Dragon' has been delayed by injuries and a revision of the script, but the team has made the decision to focus more on quality.
