'Prem Patta' shooting begins in Kozhikode; Aamir Pallikkal directs campus romance; Jomon Jyothir leads

The shooting of the campus romance film 'Prem Patta' has officially begun in Kozhikode. Directed by Aamir Pallikkal and written by Lijeesh Kumar, the film is set against the backdrop of an NSS camp. Mamta Mohandas attended the launch ceremony as a special guest. The movie is produced by Aamir Pallikkal under his banner Studio Outsiders. It is expected to be one of the notable campus love stories in Malayalam cinema this year.

Shooting commences in Kozhikode

The muhurat of 'Prem Patta' took place in Kozhikode. The film is set in a college campus during an NSS camp. Aamir Pallikkal, who previously directed Manju Warrier starrer 'Aayisha' and Suraj Venjaramoodu's 'ED', is helming the project.

The team has planned a 45-day shooting schedule, primarily in Kozhikode and Thrissur. Central Pictures will release the film in theatres.Ankit Menon, who is also the music director, is a co-producer of the film. Omar Navazi serves as the executive producer. Cinematography is handled by Ranadive. The songs are written by Muhsin Parari, Suhail M. Koya and Muthu. Akash Varghese Joseph, known for 'Premalu' and 'Super Sharanya', is the editor.

Prasanna Master is in charge of choreography. After 'Marco', Kalai Kingson is the stunt master.
