Preserve Indian values and heritage, Vishweshwar Reddy tells students at Ojas

Member of Parliament from Chevella Konda Vishweshwar Reddy emphasised the importance of preserving Indian values, cultural heritage, and philosophical traditions for a meaningful human life in the era of computers and Artificial Intelligence.

Addressing the Ojas 2k26 — cultural and academic festival hosted by Osmania University (OU) College of Arts and Social Sciences — he said technological progress alone cannot ensure happiness and fulfillment.

He highlighted the growing need for liberal arts, humanities, and social sciences alongside engineering and technology education. Mr. Reddy said true enjoyment comes through social connections, shared experiences, and communication rather than material possessions.

Principal, College of Arts and Social Sciences, C. Kasim said the programme aimed to showcase students’ hidden talents. He appreciated Mr. Reddy’s service and thanked the Konda Foundation for supporting the event.
