President Murmu to attend Central Tribal University convocation in Vizag on June 30

Visakhapatnam: President Droupadi Murmu will visit Visakhapatnam on June 30 to attend the first convocation ceremony of the Central Tribal University. The President will depart from New Delhi on the morning of June 30 by a special Indian Air Force flight and arrive at INS Dega in Visakhapatnam in the afternoon.

She will then proceed directly to the V-Convention Center to attend the convocation ceremony, scheduled between 3 pm and 4 pm.District collector M Abhisikth Kishore and police commissioner Shankhabrata Bagchi on Thursday evening inspected the arrangements for the President’s visit. They issued several instructions to officials regarding event management, protocol, security, vehicle parking, seating arrangements, emergency services, and other aspects.Officials were directed to thoroughly review all arrangements in accordance with the President’s security and protocol norms and take necessary measures. Special attention was given to green rooms, guest accommodations, and related arrangements, in view of the participation of the governor, chief minister, and a Union minister in the programme.
