Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were reconsidering the UK visit ahead of engagements related to the one-year countdown to the 2027 Invictus Games, as the state firmly rejected the taxpayer security deployment.

However, the Duke of Sussex continues to explore alternative safe methods to allow his children, Princess Lilibet and Prince Archie, to visit his homeland and meet their grandfather, King Charles III. While speculations regarding the family trip continued, new reports emphasised that the earlier plans for the visit remain intact and in full force. Here’s a closer look at Prince Harry’s exploration of other options for the UK Visit, following the denial of security personnel.

Prince Harry continues to inspect ‘every available option’ for a secure UK trip

Previously, reports concluded that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were reconsidering the UK visit with their children due to denied police protection. However, the 41-year-old royal has not relinquished the goal and has started exploring other options for security. “The Duke continues to explore every available option to enable the visit to proceed safely and to give his children the opportunity to enjoy the UK,” People Magazine reported.

Prince Harry’s concern was not accommodation; it was security

The royal family offered one of their estates as the temporary residence, which included official protection. “The issue has never been accommodation,” the spokesperson stated before adding, “The issue is whether appropriate and proportionate protective security is being provided throughout the entirety of the visit.”During the time, Prince Harry’s programme included both private and public engagements across the country. “Safe accommodation is only one element of an effective protective security plan because risk follows the person, not the place,” the outlet said. Meanwhile, Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and their family are currently on vacation in mainland Europe for the summer, and the upcoming UK trip marks their first time as a family visit in four years.
