Private hosp in Hazaribag suspended from Ayushman scheme

Ranchi: The Jharkhand State Arogya Society has suspended Hazaribag Ford and Ortho Care from the Ayushman Bharat–Mukhyamantri Jan Arogya Yojana with immediate effect for alleged irregularities and for failing to respond to show-cause notices issued to it within the stipulated time, official sources said.According to the sources, serious discrepancies were detected in an analysis report submitted by National Insurance Company Limited, which was found to violate the norms of the Ayushman Bharat scheme. Seeking clarification, the society issued notices to the hospital on September 20, 2024, May 30, 2025, and September 23, 2025.A press note from the health department said despite repeated communications sent to the hospital’s registered official email ID and subsequent reminders, the hospital management failed to submit any explanation within the prescribed deadlines.
