Priyanka Ala takes charge as Hyderabad district Collector

2016-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Priyanka Ala on Sunday, April 26, assumed charge as the District Collector of Hyderabad, following a major administrative reshuffle in Telangana. She replaces 2010-batch IAS officer Hari Chandana Dasari, who had been serving as the Hyderabad Collector since June 2025.

Prior to her new role, Priyanka Ala was serving as the Zonal Commissioner for Khairatabad, where she oversaw key aspects of urban administration. She has also previously served as the District Collector of Bhadradri Kothagudem.
