Paris Saint-Germain defender Lucas Hernandez is at the centre of a serious legal storm in France.

According to Paris Match, the 29-year-old France international and his partner Victoria Triay have been formally charged by the Versailles prosecutor’s office over allegations of human trafficking and illegal employment.

The case stems from a complaint filed by a Colombian family of five who claim they worked for Hernandez and Triay between September 2024 and November 2025 under unlawful conditions.

The family alleged they were employed in multiple roles — including security, cooking, cleaning and childcare — without contracts, residency permits or social security registration.

According to the complaint, the family said they worked between 72 and 84 hours per week, were paid in cash, and were never officially declared as employees. The absence of employment contracts, payroll records and social security contributions forms the backbone of the prosecution’s case.

The plaintiffs’ lawyer, Lola Dubois, told Paris Match that these elements suggest “criminal intent," particularly given the duration of the alleged arrangement and the number of people involved.

The allegations go even further. The family claimed they were asked to sign non-disclosure agreements in February 2025, despite still not having any legal employment status. They also alleged they were provided with falsified Spanish documents to give the appearance of lawful residency in France.

One of the more serious claims included in the complaint relates to an alleged attempted robbery at the residence in December 2024, during which male members of the Hernandez household are accused of using firearms and knives.

Paris Match reported that security camera footage supports part of this account.

At this stage, the Versailles prosecutor’s office is continuing its investigation. No preventive or restrictive measures have yet been imposed on Hernandez or Triay, and the case remains in the clarification phase.

Neither PSG nor Lucas Hernandez has publicly commented on the charges.
