The Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) 2026 provisional answer key has been released by the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB). Candidates who appeared for the state-level teacher eligibility examination can now access the answer key and download their individual OMR response sheets through the official PSTET portal.The answer key enables candidates to cross-check their responses and estimate their probable scores ahead of the official result declaration. The board has also opened an objection window for candidates who wish to challenge any discrepancies in the provisional answers.

PSTET answer key and OMR sheets now available

The PSTET 2026 examination was conducted on March 15, 2026, for candidates seeking eligibility to teach at the primary and upper primary levels in Punjab’s government and aided schools.

Following the completion of the exam, PSEB has released the provisional answer keys for both Paper 1 and Paper 2, along with candidates’ OMR sheets.Candidates can log in to the official website using their credentials to view the answer key corresponding to their question booklet series. By comparing their marked responses with the official solutions, candidates can calculate their probable scores before the final results are announced.

The board has clarified that the answer key released at this stage is provisional, meaning it may be revised after reviewing objections submitted by candidates.

Objection window open till March 21

PSEB has provided an opportunity for candidates to raise objections to any answer they believe is incorrect. The objection window will remain open from March 17 to March 21, 2026.To submit a challenge, candidates must log in to the official PSTET portal and upload supporting documents or references to justify their claim.

Each objection must be backed by credible evidence such as standard textbooks or authoritative academic sources.After the objection window closes, the board will review all challenges submitted by candidates. If any discrepancies are found to be valid, the provisional answers will be revised accordingly before the final answer key is published.

Two papers for different teaching levels

The PSTET exam is conducted in two separate papers to assess candidates’ eligibility for teaching different school levels.Paper 1 is designed for candidates aspiring to teach Classes 1 to 5, while Paper 2 is meant for those who wish to teach Classes 6 to 8. Candidates aiming to be eligible for both levels are required to appear for both papers.The examination evaluates candidates on areas such as child development and pedagogy, language proficiency, subject knowledge, and teaching aptitude.

PSTET result expected after final answer key

Once the review of objections is completed, PSEB will release the final answer key, which will be used to prepare the PSTET 2026 results.
