The Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) 2026 application process has started. The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has opened the online registration window for candidates who want to become teachers in government schools in the state.

PSTET is mandatory for teaching posts at the primary and upper primary levels. Candidates can apply for Paper I for Classes I to V, Paper II for Classes VI to VIII, or both papers. How to apply online

Candidates can apply through the official PSTET website. The application process is completely online. Application fee and required documents

The application fee varies by category. For General and OBC candidates, the fee is Rs 1,100 for one paper and Rs 2,200 for both papers. For SC, ST, and PwBD candidates, the fee is Rs 550 for one paper and Rs 1,100 for both papers.

Ex-servicemen are exempted from paying the fee. The fee once paid is non-refundable.Candidates should have important documents ready when filling the form.
