The incident comes days after three people were arrested in Maharashtra's Sambhajinagar district for allegedly selling cosmetic products labelled "Made in Pakistan".

Woman displays a 'Made in Pakistan' label found on a bedsheet after washing.
A woman in Pune has sparked a police investigation after claiming that a bedsheet she purchased at a religious fair carried a "Made in Pakistan" label that became visible only after the fabric was washed.
The incident came to light in the Chinchwad area of Pimpri-Chinchwad, where the woman had bought the bedsheet from a vendor during the Sankashti Chaturthi fair held near the Morya Gosavi Temple complex.
According to the woman, she noticed nothing unusual at the time of purchase. However, after washing the bedsheet at home, she discovered a tag attached to the fabric bearing the words "Made in Pakistan".
Concerned by the finding, she posted a video on social media, questioning how a product allegedly manufactured in Pakistan had reached a local market in Maharashtra. The video quickly went viral, drawing widespread attention and prompting authorities to take notice.
Following the video's circulation, Pimpri-Chinchwad Police initiated an inquiry into the matter. A special team has been formed to investigate the origin of the product and determine how it was supplied and sold at the fair.
Police have also written to the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation, seeking action against vendors found selling such products if any violations are detected.
The bedsheet was reportedly purchased on Wednesday during the Sankashti Chaturthi celebrations, when large numbers of devotees had gathered at the temple premises.
The incident comes days after three people were arrested in Maharashtra's Sambhajinagar district for allegedly selling cosmetic products labelled "Made in Pakistan".
Authorities are now trying to establish where the bedsheet originated, who supplied it, and whether there is a larger distribution network involved. Further action will depend on the findings of the investigation.
