Putin's warning came a day after Western 'Coalition of the willing' vowed to deploy their soldiers in Ukraine in event of a peace deal.

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday issued a stern warning to Europe, stating that any deployment of Western troops in Ukraine would make them a “legitimate" target for Moscow’s military.
This comes a day after Ukraine’s allies — coalition of the willing, led by France and the United Kingdom — said that they had vowed to put boots on the ground in Ukraine as a security guarantee in the event of a peace deal with Russia in the future.
Two dozen countries pledged yesterday to join a “reassurance" force on land, at sea, and in the air to patrol any deal.
“If some troops appear there, especially now during the fighting, we proceed from the premise that they will be legitimate targets," Putin said at an economic forum in Vladivostok, AFP reported.
