PWD employee killed in Chandauli, UP, after temple dome collapsed during road widening demolition. Investigation launched.

A PWD employee was killed after a temple dome collapsed during demolition work for a road widening project in Uttar Pradesh’s Chandauli district.
The dome suddenly came crashing down while the demolition was underway, trapping the employee under the debris. He died at the spot.
Following the accident, authorities immediately stopped the demolition work.
The administration has launched an investigation to determine what caused the collapse and whether any lapses led to the incident.
Further action will be taken based on the findings of the probe.
