Quarterback Season 3 cast locked in: Netflix reveals which NFL QBs made the final cut(Getty)
Netflix has officially made its call. Recently, the streaming giant dropped the first trailer for Season 3 of Quarterback and revealed the four NFL quarterbacks who made the final lineup.
Like the last two seasons, the series will track the highs, lows, and pressure points of life under center. This year’s cast brings a different kind of energy. Baker Mayfield, Jayden Daniels, Joe Flacco, and Cam Ward all enter with very different stakes. Some are fighting to stay on top. Others are trying to prove they belong.
Netflix Quarterback Season 3 puts four very different NFL journeys under the spotlight
That is what makes this season stand out right away. The first two seasons leaned heavily on established stars.
This one feels more unpredictable. There is no Patrick Mahomes-level lock here. Instead, Netflix went with four quarterbacks, each carrying a different kind of pressure, which could make the storytelling stronger.
Baker Mayfield enters as the group's proven fighter. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback has spent years bouncing between doubt and redemption. In 2025, he kept Tampa in the playoff race and once again showed why teams keep betting on him.
He plays with emotion, and that always spills into moments cameras love. When things get heated on the sideline or inside the locker room, Mayfield rarely hides it.Then comes Jayden Daniels, and his story may be the most important one. After his breakout rookie season with the Washington Commanders, the expectations got much louder in 2025. Defenses adjusted. The spotlight got bigger. Then injuries slowed him down.
Netflix had cameras around during that stretch, which means fans will likely see the pressure that comes with trying to live up to early hype.Joe Flacco brings the veteran angle. At 41, his NFL story looked close to over. Then came another shot. That is why his inclusion feels different. In the official trailer released by Netflix, Joe Flacco says, “You’re not always in charge of how things go. You just have to be willing to accept challenges and see where they take you.”
He says it while reflecting on the twists of his career, and it fits his story perfectly. And then there is Cam Ward, the rookie wildcard. As the No. 1 overall pick, he entered the Tennessee Titans with massive pressure. Rookie quarterbacks often struggle, but Ward’s season came with coaching noise, losses, and heavy expectations from day one. That kind of chaos can shape a career fast.Quarterback Season 3 drops on July 14. This time, Netflix is not selling perfection. It is selling pressure, setbacks, and survival. That is exactly why these four made the cut.
