Raghav Chadha loses followers on Instagram after leaving AAP

On April 24, seven of the 10 Rajya Sabha members of the AAP, including Raghav Chadha, broke away and joined the BJP. Mr. Chadha, who is one of the more popular politicians on social media, however, within a day began losing followers on Instagram. While by April 25, less than a day later, the Rajya Sabha member lost 1.1 million followers, on April 29 he had lost one million more.

When Mr. Chadha announced his departure from the AAP on April 24, he had nearly 14.6 million followers, but the number of his followers dropped to 12.7 million by April 26.
