Raichur Rural MLA reviews projects, unveils tourism push along Krishna

Raichur: Scheduled Tribes Development Corporation chairperson and Raichur Rural MLA Basanagouda Daddal on Saturday reviewed development works across his constituency, inspecting infrastructure projects, educational institutions and public facilities during a daylong tour.The visit began with the launch of a new bus service for students in Kadagandoddi village under Chandrabanda ZP limits. He later inspected the D Devaraj Urs Pre-Matric Boys’ Hostel at Chandrabanda.The MLA directed officials to ensure quality food for students as per the prescribed menu, improve basic amenities and provide all required academic books. He also inspected the Krishna River bridge connecting D Rampur village and instructed officials to expedite the remaining works.During his visit to Narada Gadde, Daddal reviewed the ongoing bathing ghat works on the Krishna River and announced plans to develop the site as a tourist destination. He also proposed exploring the establishment of a crocodile park and construction of a small dam across the river to support agricultural activities in the region.Officials from the revenue, agriculture, PWD, and information and public relations departments accompanied the MLA during the inspection tour.
