Rainfall brings relief, cloudy days ahead

Chandigarh: Rain and thundershowers brought relief from the heat in Chandigarh Saturday. The city recorded a maximum temperature of 35.7°C and a minimum of 27.1°C, both near normal for this time of the year.

The weather department recorded 1.4 mm rainfall during the past 24 hours.According to the IMD, the city is likely to witness partly cloudy skies between July 5 and 9, with intermittent rain and thunderstorms. Maximum temperatures are expected to remain between 34°C and 37°C, while minimum temperatures may hover between 24°C and 26°C, keeping conditions relatively pleasant over the coming days.
