Jhabar Singh Kharra, the Urban Development and Housing (UDH) Minister of Rajasthan, sparked a political firestorm after he allegedly spat inside the State Assembly while responding to a query from opposition parties.

The incident, captured on camera, shows Kharra purportedly spitting inside the House as he addresses the speaker.

The episode has triggered a debate on the conduct and decorum of public representatives inside the House, with the opposition members calling the act a violation of the Assembly’s dignity.

They have demanded that action be taken against the minister in accordance with the Assembly rules.

Meanwhile, legislative authorities are expected to review the matter and deliberate on the further course of action.
