Bava Lakshmanan began his career at Super Good Films before making a successful transition to acting. He became a regular face with his comedy scenes with Vadivelu. He was appreciated for his performances in films like ‘Maayi’, ‘Anandham’ and ‘Aei’. However, declining health and fewer acting opportunities made life increasingly difficult. Earlier, several well-wishers, including actor Vijay Sethupathi and television personality Bala, had also extended support when he underwent treatment for diabetes-related complications.
