Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor starrer ‘Peddi’ set for April 30 release as final 10-day shoot for special song begins - Reports

Ram Charan will next be seen in the upcoming adventure action thriller, ‘Peddi’, with Bollywood’s Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead. The movie, after a long time, will be hitting the silver screens, with fans speculating about the film’s release plans.

Update on ‘Peddi’ shoot

As per a report by 123Telugu, the film is almost done, with only a few small parts remaining. These include one special item song and a few minor scenes. The team needs around ten more days to finish everything. It also states that only a couple of shots remain, including a special song and some minor scenes. Additionally, the makers need around ten more days of call sheets to complete the entire shoot. If the shoot goes as planned, they will wrap it up soon.

Earlier, the film was announced to hit the big screens coinciding with Ram Charan’s birthday on March 26, however, the date was pushed forward and is now set to release on April 30, 2026 in multiple languages.

‘Peddi’ songs

The makers have already released two singles from the film. First, they shared ‘Chikri Chikri,’ a playful, lighthearted single and recently, the introduction of ‘Rai Raa Raa,’ which features the actor’s strong mass image and high energy, was released.

About ‘Peddi’

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana of ‘Uppena’ fame, 'Peddi' is an action-packed sports entertainer starring Ram Charan as the titular character. He is seen in a rugged, raw and muscular look with a heavy beard. On the other hand, Janhvi Kapoor plays Achiyyamma, a bold and fiery woman. The movie also includes Shiva Rajkumar as Gournaidu, Jagapathi Babu as Appalasoori, Divyendu Sharma as Ram Bujji, Boman Irani and others on board.
