Ram Charan starrer ‘Peddi’ makers take prompt action as 53-second clip from the special song leaked online

Ram Charan is working with Buchi Babu Sana on their upcoming sports action drama ‘Peddi’. After getting delayed twice due to some unfinished post-production and the shoot of a special song, the team seems to had faced another setback.

According to the latest reports, a 53-second clip from the song got leaked online.

Leak origin traced to playback monitor

As per a report in Mid-day, a 53-second video from the song was leaked on April 27. After it made its way online, the team was stunned as such leaks usually take place during the post-production stage of the film. But the clip that got out seems to have been recorded by someone from the playback monitor.The clip was circulated across fan pages, Telegram groups, and on X (formerly Twitter).This caught the team off guard. This made the makers remove over 400 links from the social media platforms. It is further shared that the makers’ legal and digital teams are working on the issue.

About the special song

The song, which got leaked it set to be a special high-octane dance number. It will feature Ram Charan opposite another actress other than Janhvi Kapoor, who plays the female lead in the film. Multiple actresses were reported to be taking the part, including Mrunal Thakur, Samyuktha and more, but ultimately it looks like the makers finalized Shruti Haasan as the best fit for the song.

The shooting of the song had begun only earlier that day on a specially made set in Janwada near Hyderabad.About ‘Peddi’ castSpeaking about the film, it also features Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu, and Boman Irani in key roles.
