While 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge' has created massive attention among the audiences towards Hindi cinema, now it's Ranbir Kapoor's turn for his next hit, with Nitesh Tiwari's 'Ramayana.' In the latest news, Ranbir Kapoor had a sweet moment during the 'Ramayana' teaser launch in Los Angeles. A fan, who designs clothes, gifted him a red bandhgala jacket inspired by the Ayodhya Ram Mandir. The jacket had fine gold threadwork and a detailed picture of Lord Ram embroidered on the back.

Ranbir looked genuinely pleased when he saw it.The clip was shared by a fan on Twitter with the caption, "During the Ramayana teaser screening in New York City, a fan had a truly unforgettable moment, as he personally gifted Ranbir Kapoor a beautifully crafted vest inspired by Lord Rama. #Ramayana #Ranbirkapoor."

About the Jacket

The red jacket featured beautiful embroidery of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir near the bottom. On the back was a full image of Lord Ram in intricate design.

The gold thread gave it a rich, traditional touch. The fan told Ranbir he made it specially for this event. Ranbir spent some time checking the fine details as seen in the clip shared by a fan.

Ranbir was present at the event and spoke about playing Lord Ram. The teaser is 2 minutes and 38 seconds long and has received a 'U' certificate. It will be released in India on April 2.

Cast and release plans

Nitesh Tiwari is directing the film. Ranbir Kapoor is playing Rama, Yash will be seen as Ravana, Sai Pallavi is Sita, Ravie Dubey steps into the role of Lakshman, and Sunny Deol plays Hanuman. Part 1 is expected to release on Diwali 2026, and Part 2 on Diwali 2027.
