Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Wednesday announced that the final alignment of the Namo Bharat Rapid Regional Transit System (RRTS) corridor, connecting Gurugram to Faridabad and Noida-Greater Noida, has been approved. The announcement was made during a session of the Haryana Legislative Assembly.

According to Chief Minister Saini, the 52-kilometer-long stretch of the 64-kilometer corridor will be within Haryana. In Gurugram, the corridor will start at IFFCO Chowk and pass through Sector 29, Millennium City, Sector 52, Sector 57, and Sector 61, terminating at Gwal Pahari and linking with the Delhi Metro’s Yellow Line. In Faridabad, the corridor will pass through Sainik Colony, connecting New Faridabad, NIT, Bata Chowk, and Sectors 12-15 with the Delhi Metro’s Violet Line.

“The necessary instructions have been issued to the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC), which is responsible for implementing the project," the CM said. This corridor will not only integrate with the Delhi Metro, Rapid Metro, and Gurugram Metro networks, but will also “pave the way for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed India," the CM said.

CM Saini added that the Detailed Project Report (DPR) will be prepared soon and described the corridor as a significant step toward boosting investment and employment opportunities in the state.

The Namo Bharat RRTS corridor is expected to improve regional connectivity across the NCR, offering faster travel between key economic hubs while providing seamless integration with existing metro and rapid transit systems.
