'Ready To Investigate': Iranian FM Says US, Israel Attacking Regional States

Iranian Foreign Minister claims US and Israel attack Arab states in West Asia. US developed a drone like Iran's Shahed 136. Iran is open to a joint investigation committee.

Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi on Sunday said that the US and Israel are launching attacks on Arab states in the West Asia region. He claimed that the United States has developed a drone similar to Iran’s Shahed 136 to target different regions in the Arab countries.

In an interview with pan-Arab news outlet Al-Araby Al-Jadeed, Araghchi said Iran is ready to meet with regional states and form a joint committee to investigate the nature of the attacked targets. He further clarified that Iran’s attacks are specifically target the US bases, in retaliation for attacks launched from those sites.

Tensions escalates in West Asia after Israel and the United States launched joint attacks on Tehran and other Iranian cities, killing Iran’s then Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

Speaking on the current situation of Iran, Araghchi said the condition is “stable" and the new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei is in good health and fully in charge.

“Nuclear Material" Buried After US Strikes

Iran’s Foreign Minister Araghchi said on Sunday (local time) that his country’s “nuclear material" was currently buried under rubble following recent attacks on its nuclear facilities. As per a report by CBS news, Araghchi said that the material may be recoverable in the future, but remains inaccessible for now.

“They are under the rubbles. Our nuclear facilities were attacked, and everything is under the rubbles. There is the possibility to retrieve them, but under the supervision of the agency. If one day we come to the conclusion to do that, it would be under the supervision of the agency. But for the time being, we have no program. We have no plan to recover them from under the rubbles," Araghchi said.
