Real estate bizman missing since 2025 murdered by live-in partner, her boyfriend

Hyderabad: A 60-year-old man who had been missing from Miyapur since Dec 2025 was found to have been murdered by his live-in partner and her boyfriend, with his body later disposed of in Maharashtra.The victim, Pentaiah, a real estate businessman, was allegedly killed in Miyapur before his body was transported to Maharashtra.According to sources, the prime accused, Satyavathi, is in police custody along with her boyfriend, and both are being questioned. In fact, it was Satyavathi who approached the Miyapur police last year to file a complaint claiming that Pentaiah had gone missing.After nearly seven months of investigation, police analysed call data records and found that Satyavathi was in frequent contact with another man on the day Pentaiah disappeared.

Acting on this and other leads, investigators questioned her, during which she confessed that Pentaiah had been murdered.Pentaiah was previously married and had three children. About 15 years ago, he divorced his wife and entered into a relationship with Satyavathi, 40, with whom he had been living ever since.Police are yet to ascertain the motive behind the murder.Police said that after transporting the body to Maharashtra, it was partially burnt and abandoned at an isolated location. The exact place in Maharashtra where the body was dumped, and the manner in which Pentaiah was killed in Miyapur are yet to be disclosed by the police.The Cyberabad police have not disclosed further details, as they are scheduled to address the media at a press conference on Wednesday.
