Realme 16 5G targets youth with Selfie Mirror and massive battery

New Delhi: So finally, Realme has unveiled its most-awaited device in India. Realme 16 with unique selfie mirror innovation, which is especially designed to make taking selfies easier using the main camera sensor. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Turbo processor.

It houses a massive 7,000mAh battery pack for 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage priced at Rs 31,999 for the base variant. And it is available in two color options: Air White and Air Black.

This device is now available for pre-booking. Customers who pre-order the device will get a one-year extended warranty alongside an additional gift at mainline stores. This device will be available from April 6 through its official website and on the e-commerce platform Flipkart. It features a 6.57-inch AMOLED display with 4,200nits of peak brightness.

The company has also introduced the Gleaming Wings finish. Realme has stated that the multi-layered gradient design creates a shifting blue and gold effect under light.

It also includes a small mirror next to the rear camera that lets users take selfies by using the main camera sensor, a feature called Selfie Mirror. Taking selfies with the rear camera is made easier via the Say Hi gesture, which can automatically start a countdown.

It also features a ring flash to deliver softer, more even lighting in low-light conditions. It features a camera bar with a horizontal rear camera layout, featuring a 50MP Sony IMX852 main camera sensor.

It also uses LumaColor imaging technology to maintain balanced colors and more accurate skin tones across different lighting conditions. On the front, there is a 50MP main camera sensor for selfies and video calling. This device, out of the box, runs on Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16. It also comes with 60W wired charging support. This device carries an IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K rating for dust and water resistance.
