New Delhi: Recently, Xiaomi officially unveiled the Redmi K90 Ultra in China, extending its phone lineup with the high-performance device. It is available in three color options: Shadow Black, Space Silver, and Sky Blue. This device is built with an aluminum alloy CNC frame, anodized to offer premium build quality.
It features a 6.83-inch 1.5K M10-substrate flat screen with a large, rounded-corner design. It has a 165Hz refresh rate and up to 3,500-nit peak brightness. It carries IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, coupled with a D2 discrete graphics chip. It is coupled with an LPDDR5X Ultra memory and UFS 4.1 flash onboard storage. The individual fan unit carries its own independent IPX8 and IPX9 dust and water resistance. It houses a massive 8,550mAh battery and supports 100W wired and 22.5W wired reverse charging. It also supports direct power routing from the motherboard during gameplay to bypass the battery, and it reduces heat generation.
It also includes some hardware features focused on multimedia and daily use. It has Bose-tuned 1115X symmetrical dual speakers. A 0815 X-axis linear motor. A 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for secure unlocking. Landscape network optimizations to ensure a stable connection when the device is held horizontally.
Xiaomi has partnered with Tencent to optimize the touch experience for popular mobile titles deeply. It features customized e-sports zone touch control, including targeted adjustments to the movement wheel area, skill button area, and minimap area. It also includes customized zone touch control tailored for specific in-game actions, covering scenarios such as movement, aiming, and elimination.
