Registration date for post-matric scholarship extended

The Scheduled Castes Development Department of Telangana has announced extension for registration of colleges and students on the TG e-pass website for post-matric scholarships. The deadline for sanctioning fresh and renewal scholarships for the academic year 2025-26 has been moved from March 31, 2026 to April 20, 2026.

The Post-Matric Scholarships (PMS) scheme covers students from SC, ST, BC, EBC, minority, and physically challenged categories. Registration initially commenced on July 1, 2025. Out of a target of 1,089,253 students, only 966,243 have registered so far. The remaining 125,010 students are yet to apply.

Special Chief Secretary Sabyasachi Ghosh directed the regulatory authorities and college managements to ensure all eligible students upload their data by the new deadline via the official portal: http://telanganaepass.cgg.gov.in.
