Talking to people about the matter, the actor revealed that whatever the video is claiming is 100% false. He added that this was the first time he had heard of this, and that he could not believe something like this was shared online. “It's just this made-up, weird thing that people ask me about. And I'm just like, 'I've never heard of this in my life.' That story was 100 percent insane and made-up, and not a word of it is true,” the star quipped further.

The video, which has recently gone viral online, shows a story about Sandler and his daughter going to a retail store. The video made claims that the two had gone to a store; however, an employee had allegedly told Sadie that she was not allowed to touch certain items inside the store. In a bid to teach the employees a ‘lesson’, Sandler had bought bags from the store worth USD 312,000.In another interview with USA Today, the actor had earlier revealed how he had come across the video in the first place. He shared that a close friend of his had reached out to him about the viral video. “That was one of the weirdest, dumbest, 100% made up things. It was very odd. I don't know how that [expletive] happens,” he added. On the work front, Adam Sandler appeared opposite George Clooney in the film ‘Jay Kelly’, which follows the story of a washed out actor and his agent as they navigate challenges and different meanings of life.
