Star Indian javelin throw athlete Neeraj Chopra ascended to the top of the World Rankings to reclaim the top spot on Saturday.

The 27-year-old from Khandra shot to the No.1 spot with 1445 points. The double Olympic medallist briefly dropped to the second spot in September 2024, but retook his place at the top with consistent showings this season.

Grenada’s Anderson Peters stands second with 1431, while German Julian Weber comes in third with a tally of 1407.
