Ronnie O’Sullivan and Laila Rouass celebrate first Valentine’s Day as husband and wife
Laila Rouass, best known for her role in Footballers’ Wives, posted a loved-up message on Instagram Stories to mark the special day. She wrote, “My first Valentine as Mrs O’Sullivan. Happy Love Day to my sweet, generous and hot husband Ronnie O’Sullivan.” The message quickly caught the attention of fans who have followed the couple’s long relationship.O’Sullivan, a seven-time world snooker champion, first proposed to Rouass in 2013, about a year after they started dating.
Interestingly, they originally met when Rouass was house hunting and was shown around a property by O’Sullivan’s father. Despite their strong connection, busy work schedules later pushed them apart and the engagement ended. After spending time away from each other, the pair reunited 13 months ago and decided to give their relationship another chance. Their low-key wedding in last June confirmed their commitment.
Following the ceremony, O’Sullivan told supporters, “We finally made it official!! Mr & Mrs O’Sullivan.”Away from his personal life, O’Sullivan is now preparing for a major snooker moment. He is set to face Stephen Hendry for the first time in 15 years in a special match for the John Virgo Trophy. The event is scheduled for the weekend of April 11-12 at Goffs Kildare Paddocks in Ireland and will honour the late snooker star and broadcaster John Virgo, who died aged 79.However, O’Sullivan will not compete in next week’s Players Championship, meaning fans must wait a little longer to see him back in competitive action. Even so, his Valentine’s celebration shows that both his personal life and professional journey remain full of meaningful moments.
