The musical journey of the upcoming Bengali feature film Nevermind has begun with the release of its first song, Violet Bari.A soulful and evocative track, Violet Bari has been written, composed and sung by Rupam Islam. The song offers audiences a glimpse into the emotional world of Nevermind, a film that delves into human connections, loneliness, memories and unexpected encounters.Sharing his thoughts on the song, Rupam said, “I had written a version of Violet Bari much earlier. But when it became a part of Nevermind, the song seemed to reshape itself in its own way, responding to the world and emotions of the film. I'm delighted that it has finally reached the audience, and I hope listeners find their own stories within it.”

Director Chaiti Ghoshal described the track as the perfect introduction to the film’s emotional landscape. “Violet Bari carries a sense of longing, warmth and mystery that resonates deeply with the world of the film.
Having Rupam da bring that to life has been incredibly special," she said.Nevermind features an ensemble cast comprising Rituparna Sengupta, Amartya Ray, Anusha Vishwanathan, Subhasish Mukhopadhyay, Sujoy Prasad Chatterjee and Subhrajit Dutta, among others. The story and screenplay have been penned by Samrat, Mitali Ghoshal and Amartya Ray.
