SA20 Auction 2025 LIVE: Dewald Brevis fetches record bid of Rs 8.3 crore

Wiaan Mulder, the former Durban Super Giants all-rounder, entered the SA20 auction at a base price of R500,000.

Joburg Super Kings opened the bidding, soon joined by DSG, before Paarl Royals entered the fray. After missing out on Dewald Brevis, JSK went in aggressively for Mulder, pushing the price past R5 million. The Royals briefly led but were outbid as JSK kept raising the paddle. In a late twist, Royals rejoined, sparking another tussle, but JSK held firm.

Mulder was finally sold to Joburg Super Kings for R9 million (~Rs 4,53,35,700), with DSG opting against using their RTM card.
