15 dead, 9 fighting for their lives at KGMU — the official list of all students killed and injured in the Lucknow Aliganj coaching centre fire is now out.

A devastating fire at a coaching centre in Aliganj’s Purania locality in Lucknow claimed 15 young lives on Monday, with students trapped on upper floors dying of smoke inhalation. Nine others who jumped or were pulled from windows and ledges are battling serious injuries at KGMU Trauma Centre. The official list of all 24 victims — dead and injured — has been released by KGMU and the Lucknow administration.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited the hospital in person, reviewed the condition of the injured students, and directed officials to ensure free, high-quality treatment for all survivors.
