Sai Abhyankkar reveals he was nervous to present music to Allu Arjun; ‘He knows what works’

Young musician Sai Abhyankkar is working on one of the biggest projects of his career as the composer adds tunes to Allu Arjun and director Atlee’s upcoming sci-fi film, ‘Raaka’.He shared that he was nervous before meeting Allu Arjun for the first time.

He explained that the actor has a strong understanding of what audiences like, which made him a little worried about presenting his music.

While speaking with Billboard, ‘Aasa Kooda’ composer said, “I was very nervous when I was going to meet Allu Arjun sir because he knows what works and what doesn't work. I had that little bit of fear while going and showing him something that we had worked on for Raaka.”Sai Abhyankkar also praised Allu Arjun for always staying connected with the audience.

He said, “He knows what works and what won't work with the audience. He's in touch with the pulse.” The composer said working with the actor has been a good learning experience because of his creative ideas and understanding of what people enjoy watching and listening to.Sai also spoke about the music discussions that happen during the making of ‘Raaka’.

Allu Arjun's taste in music

He said, “When Allu sir and I discuss music, we discuss all the genres that exist today.

The same goes for my director, Atlee anna. We also discuss what’s happening currently, what the scene is right now, what people are listening to and what Gen Z is listening to. We discuss a lot of that.” He further praised Atlee and added, “He's also one great musical ear.”Speaking of the other cast members, Deepika Padukone plays the female lead, while Chemban Vinod Jose, Yogi Babu and Femina George are also part of the film.Although several reports have linked actors like Vijay Sethupathi, Janhvi Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur to the project, the makers have not officially confirmed the full cast yet.
