According to the remand report submitted by the SIT, the two constables allegedly played a key role in destroying evidence related to the custodial death. Investigators claimed that they replaced the original CCTV hard disks installed at the Krishnalanka police station with different ones in an attempt to erase vital footage that could have helped establish the sequence of events surrounding Sai Krishna’s death. The SIT further informed the court that the whereabouts of Sai Krishna’s body remain unknown, adding another layer of mystery to the case. The SIT has intensified its probe and is examining digital evidence, witness statements , and the roles played by all police personnel involved.
