 Ahaan Panday's debut film holds strong; mints Rs 45 cr net in India

Ahaan Panday’s debut film 'Saiyaara' is proving to be a winner at the box office. The film had a solid start with Rs 21 crore on its opening day. After that 'Saiyaara' witnessed significant growth on Day 2 (Saturday).

It reportedly collected an estimated Rs 24 crore. This brings its total India net collection to Rs 45 crore, according to Sacnilk.

Occupancy Rises Through the Day

The film saw an overall Hindi occupancy of 51.24% on Saturday, July 19, 2025. Morning shows began at a modest 28.14%. By evening and night, the occupancy soared to 55.40% and 70.74% respectively.Region-wise, Bengaluru led the way with a whopping 72% occupancy. This was followed by the NCR region at 57.5% and Pune at 53%.

Mumbai also contributed well with a steady 49% occupancy across its 712 shows. Hyderabad, though comparatively lower at 41%, still showed potential for growth going into Sunday.

Promising Signs for the Weekend and Beyond

As the movie made Rs 45 crore in just two days it is sure that 'Saiyaara' will have an impessive opening weekend by the end of Sunday. If the trend goes strong, the film could touch Rs 70–75 crore by the end of day 3.The fresh pairing of Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, the music-driven romantic storyline, and appealing visuals seem to be working in its favor. An excerpt from ETimes review reads, "Saiyaara is a visually lush, emotive, and melody-driven experience that’s effective as a romantic musical. Impressive leads, heartfelt romance and emotions, and melodic tracks make it a worthwhile one-time watch for romantic-musical fans."Sunday's performance will now be crucial in determining the film’s long-term box office trajectory—but for now, 'Saiyaara' is definitely flying high.
