Samsung Galaxy A27 5G launches worldwide with modern features

New Delhi: Samsung officially introduced its latest Galaxy A27 5G globally as its latest mid-range 5G device. It arrives as the successor to the Galaxy A26 5G after first surfacing earlier this month. It features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It provides a peak brightness of 1400 nits, and the screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+.

It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor based on a 4nm process. The octa-core processor includes four Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.4GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.8GHz, coupled with an Adreno 710 GPU.

It also includes up to 8GB RAM, up to 256GB onboard storage, and a microSD card for expansion up to 2TB. Out of the box, it runs on Android 16 with the Samsung One UI 8.5. Samsung has claimed to offer up to 6 years of Android updates and One UI upgrades, alongside up to 6 years of security updates.

This device includes Samsung Knox and Knox Vault for the hardware-backed protection of sensitive data. It sports a triple rear camera setup, which includes a 50MP main camera sensor with OIS support and an f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide camera sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP macro camera sensor with an f/2.4 aperture.

On the front, it has a 12MP selfie shooter with an f/2.2 aperture. Galaxy A27 5G houses a 5,000mAh battery pack with support for 25W wired fast charging.
