Samsung tops global soundbar market for 12th straight year: Report

Samsung Electronics has retained its position as the world’s leading soundbar brand for the 12th consecutive year, according to new data from FutureSource Consulting. In a press release, the company said it held 21.5% of global soundbar revenue and 19.7% of unit shipments in 2025, continuing a leadership streak that began in 2014.The FutureSource Consulting report shows that Samsung continues to lead the global soundbar market in both revenue and volume. The company said its growth is supported by its audio technology and integration with its television lineup. Samsung’s soundbars, it claims, are designed to work closely with its TVs, allowing users to experience audio and video together without additional setup. The company said this approach has helped it maintain its position in the segment.

New audio products planned

Samsung also revealed that it plans to expand its audio lineup in 2026. The upcoming products include the HW-Q990H flagship soundbar, which will succeed the HW-Q990F model, and the HW-QS90H all-in-one soundbar.The company will also introduce Music Studio 7 and Music Studio 5 Wi-Fi speakers, designed with input from the Bouroullec design studio. These products are aimed at offering audio solutions for different home environments.
